get startedThe Connecting Minority Communities Pilot Program is a $268 million grant program to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) for the purchase of broadband internet access service and eligible equipment to hire and train information technology personnel.
Miles Enterprise Solutions was selected to participate in the Johnson C. Smith University's Charlotte Inclusive Tech-Innovation Pilot Program (JCSU CITIP). Our objective is to support bridging the digital divide in underserved communities with workforce development.
By leveraging our expertise and collaborating with JCSU and other community resource partners, we aim to establish robust, digitally informed communities by providing technology training and micro-internships using a two-generation (2Gen) approach.
We look forward to the chance to work together and make a lasting impact
