Prospective participants must complete the following:

Who can join Accelerate IT?

Accelerate IT is open to high school students and young adults. To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must be between 14 and 23 years old
CMS high school students, as well as charter, private, and homeschooled students in the Charlotte area.
Have a current photo ID and Social Security number
Complete an online application and virtual or in-person interview
Follow instructions to complete a background check and drug screening
Participate in a mandatory student orientation
Youth under the age of 18 who work in NC must have a Youth Employment Certificate
High School Students & College Professionals
